If you're looking for a last-minute easy Halloween treat to make, these spooky s'mores are delicious and adorable. They're the perfect chocolatey dessert for Halloween parties (and you don't need a campfire to make them -- these are indoor s'mores). I've used homemade ghost marshmallows here but if you're short on time substitute marshmallow ghost Peeps. Use a grill pan or bake them -- either way, it takes less than 10 minutes to make everyone happy.

How to Make Spooky Halloween S'mores

If you're more of a visual learner, scroll to the end of the post to see the step-by-step recipe photos as always.

    1. Assemble the s'mores. Remove the cream from the middle of each Oreo cookie and place a piece of chocolate in the middle. Next add a ghost marshmallow (or Peep) to the top.
    2. Melt the Chocolate & toast the Spooky S'mores. Place assembled s'mores on a grill pan set to the lowest heat setting. Alternatively, you may use a cast iron or non-stick skillet, or place them on an outdoor grill. Warm the s'mores until the chocolate has melted and the marshmallows begin to warm up. Using a kitchen torch, lightly toast the marshmallows and serve. Enjoy your Spooky Chocolate S'mores with a cup of your favorite hot cocoa or use them to top off your Ghoulish Halloween sundaes!

How to Bake Big Batch S'Mores in the Oven

It's easy to make a big batch of these indoor Halloween S'mores. Simply pop the assembled s'mores onto a parchment-lined baking tray and place them under a preheated broiler for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the chocolate is melty and the marshmallows are toasty. Feel free to top the ghosts with another Oreo cookie half before serving.
